TOwed or StOlen?

Towed or stolen? They sound similar.

A woman claimed she couldn't return her books because her car was stolen. When she sent us the vehicle report, it said it had been towed, not stolen.

Sorry, you still have to turn them in and pay up!

Towing is basically the state stealing your car and making you pay to get it back. I can see her point.

Also, the word "liberry" makes me crazy... why are people not held accountable for saying it correctly?
