Duh! Because the mean librarians won't let them use their land lines!
I second that emotion!
I mean the one of the Customer, not the one of Anonymous Commenter.
I marvel at the general rudeness of those people who think that as well as wanting to listen to them speak (shout) grammatically incorrectly to someone on their mobile phone, we also want to listen to their (usually crap) music.
Why? WHY?! Grrr.
There is a fabulous new invention which we must share with these ignorants...'headphones'. Amazing things.

Well, as part of our new "user-friendly" library style, we are allowing people to use cell phones, as long as they do it quietly.
As you can see, reviews are mixed.
