Considerate

A lady comes up to the desk holding a laptop.

Lady: Can I get an internet reservation?

Me: Sure, but we have wireless internet if you want.

Lady: I was going to use it, but I'm afraid my computer will be too loud when I start it up.

Me: Oh, that's so nice of you! But just go ahead and start it up right here at the desk--it's noisy here anyway.

And this is before the loud argument with throwing things that happened later on.

Lady: Okay, thanks!

She starts it up and it's completely silent.

Lady: Oh. I really thought I turned the volume up last night!
