You know, my brother claims he heard this conversation going on at our local library.
Girl: "Hello. I'd like a book"
Librarian:"Well, what book?"
Girl: "A book to read"
Lol.
Next time maybe I'll ask for a book to eat.
That's almost as good as the people who ask, "Do you have a book?" to which I am itching to reply, "Why yes, in fact we have thousands of them, right behind you..." but of course I never do...
