Not an answer I provide

Today a woman asked me where I go to church. I said that's a personal question I choose not to answer. Wow, did she get mad!

Don't you just love when patrons ask you personal questions? I get the 'Where do you go to school?' question all the time--I'm young and live in an area saturated with colleges.

I've learned that "I graduated three years ago" usually leads to a "where from" so I've switched to the (usually) conversation stopper "I don't."

Next time answer her as " I don't go to church, I am the Church"...Pastor Mark Scarr's message at a sunday morning service at Woodvale Pentecostal Church.

Hurray for you! Why do consumers of any service seem to think the workers are there for their personal entertainment?
