Name that author

An older man came to the desk with a xeroxed paper that had all of the titles by this particular author.  The page also contained the crease of the book and part of the title page, cut off.  All I could see of the next page was a D and a B, so I asked the man-- are these the books by David Baldacci?  He was amazed!
