a "good number"

A man came to the desk to get a replacement card.  He saw my stack of cards and asked if he could look through them and find a "good number."  I said ok, and he looked through the stack.  Fortunately, the one with the "good number" was the fifth one he considered.  It was a "good number" because it had a 1947 in it, the year he was born.  He said- you're probably thinking- this old man has nothing to do other than to find the ideal card number.

I totally do that too. My kids' cards both have their birth years as the last four digits.
